We have all been there. You buy a pack of CR2025 batteries, pop one into a remote or a car key fob, and it dies in a few weeks. It is frustrating to waste money on batteries that barely last. I have learned that not all CR2025 batteries are created equal. The biggest difference is … Read more

I’ve noticed my CR2025 batteries dying fast in things like key fobs and thermostats. It’s frustrating when a battery should last for months but gives out in weeks. Why this happens saves you money and hassle. The constant-voltage drain in these devices is especially tough on coin cells. Unlike flashlights that dim slowly, devices like … Read more

You just swapped out your CR2025 battery, but the device still won’t work. It is frustrating when a new battery fails right away, and you wonder what went wrong. Many people blame the battery itself, but the real issue is often something else. I have seen countless cases where a simple protective tab or a … Read more

You just bought a fresh CR2025 battery, but your device still won’t work. It is frustrating when a new battery seems weak or dead right out of the package. In my experience, these batteries can lose power just sitting on a store shelf. Even a brand new CR2025 can have a lower voltage if it … Read more

I’ve tested dozens of CR2025 batteries over the years, and thickness variation is a real concern. A battery that’s too thick or too thin can cause poor contact in your device, leading to power failures. Even a tiny difference of 0.2mm can make your remote control or car key fob stop working. In my experience, … Read more

I’ve bought plenty of multi-packs of CR2025 batteries only to find a few dead ones inside. This wastes your money and leaves you frustrated when your devices won’t power on. The problem often comes from poor storage or old manufacturing dates in budget packs. I now always check the production code on the package before … Read more

I’ve seen many people grab the cheapest CR2025 batteries for things like key fobs and glucose meters. But when you put those same cheap cells into a high-drain device like a small LED flashlight, they die fast. The real problem is that cheap batteries use a different chemical formula to save money. This gives them … Read more

I’ve noticed scissor icons on CR2025 battery packaging that seem to suggest cutting the battery itself. This confuses many of us and can lead to unsafe handling. The scissor icon actually refers to cutting open the child-resistant blister pack, not the battery. In my experience, this poor design choice creates unnecessary worry for parents and … Read more

I often get asked how long those little CR2025 batteries can sit in a drawer before they go dead. This is a big question for anyone who stocks up on spares, because nobody wants to find a dead battery right when they need it most. The answer is that a fresh CR2025 lithium coin cell … Read more
